BuildIT is exceptionally honored to announce Talin Espinoza as Co-Chair of our Founders Day Gala Dinner & Awards program which is the world’s largest event of its kind. When Talin accepted this role back in July of 2024 she had no idea of the journey she and her amazing family would experience in the months ahead.
After accepting her role as Co-Chair, Talin immediately set out working with the BuildIT Team to lay the groundwork for the success of our May 29, 2025, Founders Day Conference and Gala Awards Dinner to be held at the InterContinental hotel in DTLA. She is a woman so widely regarded within the AEC industry throughout the United States that when she ‘opens a door’ to new conversations regarding collaborations, the answer is always YES! She is truly an unbelievable force of nature.
Remarkably, literally days after the Pacific Palisades and Eaton fires where her family was directly impacted, Talin hosted and moderated the 2025 Women in Heavy Civil Luncheon at the 69th Annual Beavers Conference held in Los Angeles. Her integrity, business acumen, and visionary leadership make her an industry trailblazer and an extraordinary powerbroker.
Professionally, Talin is the Chief Strategy Officer for Royal Electric Company where she brings more than 20 years of experience in the architecture, engineering and construction industry, specializing in revenue focused market building, strategic growth facilitation, and aggressive business plan authorship and execution. Talin brings to Royal Electric the knowledge, expertise, and industry contacts — but most importantly an enthusiasm for sustainable success through partnering with a wide variety of organizations, from municipal agencies to business and charity organizations, to develop and deliver innovative and sophisticated business growth programs.
Talin is responsible for developing and maintaining strong client relationships and a pipeline of work throughout the western United States for Royal Electric. Talin is currently the chair of AGC of California Los Angeles District, a board member of the CMAA of Southern California Charitable Foundation as well as the International Partnering Institute (IPI).
